Challenge:

The aim was a cost-efficient miniature gear suitable for serial production.

Solution:

Enmac designed the most cost-effective miniature gear using the Design-to-cost method. In addition to the desired cost price, other required features were taken into account in the design, such as torques and the lifespan of the miniature gear.

Result:

A cost-efficient miniature gear suitable for serial production. Thanks to the manufacturing methods, a structure that was even below the customer’s cost requirements was achieved in the miniature gear.
