Flue gas scrubber strength calculations

Challenge:

Strength calculations were required for the design and manufacture of a flue gas scrubber and its pipe ducts.

Solution:

Enmac carried out strength calculations and reporting. The amount of material required for the final product and the material thicknesses were optimised with the help of FEM strength calculation.

Result:

With the help of FEM strength calculations and reporting, the customer was able to manufacture an even safer flue gas scrubber cost-efficiently, optimising its material consumption.
